Join us for an immersive handbuilding experience led by the talented Britt Wilson! From mugs to bowls, dishes to vases, the possibilities are endless as you bring your imagination to life in clay. Over the course of four Wednesday evenings, you'll craft your own unique pottery pieces using a combination of the versatile techniques of pinch and coil construction, as well as slab building.
Britt will share her techniques for using vibrant underglazes to paint beautiful illustrations and patterns onto your pottery masterpieces. By the end of the workshop, you'll have completed a set or collection of handcrafted pottery pieces, ready to adorn your home or share as heartfelt gifts.
Expect to complete 4-6 pieces of pottery
-
1/2 Sleeve of clay, glazes and firings are included in the class price.
Terms and Conditions:
- Classes are for adults ages 18+
- All courses are non-refundable
- We require at least two week advance notice to reschedule a course, regardless of the date of booking
- There are no partial refunds for missed classes
- Cracking and breaking are a natural part of the pottery process, especially when learning. Every potter experiences it, and over time, as you refine your techniques, your pieces will become more durable. Embrace the process—it's all part of the journey!
- By being a student at our studio, you acknowledge and accept that your work may be photographed by our team (read more about our photography policy in Section 11 of our Terms of Service)
-
Make-up Sessions:
- Due to the unique process of pottery, where pieces require two firings at specific stages of development, scheduling makeup classes during a 4-week session is extremely challenging. This timing constraint makes it difficult to accommodate missed classes.
