Our Teen Wheel Throwing classes are for teens who like to make things and don't mind getting a little messy in the process.

In this intro class for teens, students get step-by-step guidance through the full pottery process - from first spin to final glaze. They'll learn to throw basic forms on the wheel, trim bottoms, sculpt cute little attachments, and learn unique glaze techniques - all giving their pieces a personal touch!

Fair warning: they might ask for a pottery wheel for their birthday…

All required materials are included in the class price. Expect to complete 6 - 8  pieces.

ALL COURSES ARE NON REFUNDABLE

We are unable to schedule makeup classes for this course.

Terms & Conditions | Important! Please read

  • Adults Only (kinda): Our classes are made for adults. But if you’ve got a 16-year-old who’s basically an old soul, email us!
  • Refunds & Cancellations: We don't offer refunds (small business realities!), but you can read how we handle reschedules and store credits in our “Refund Policy”.
  • Make-up Classes: Life happens! Check out our “Make-Up Class Policy” and we’ll do what we can to accommodate you.
  • Photography: We LOVE showing off student work. By joining us, you’re giving us the green light to photograph your pieces. Details in our Photography Policy in Section 10 under “Terms of Service”.
  • Flexible Lesson Plans: Your teacher might adjust the plan depending on class interest - we want the class to reflect what you want to learn. You’re here to get the most out of your time (and your money).
  • Clean up: The final 20–30 minutes of each class are for cleanup. It’s all part of being in a shared studio and keeping the space ready for the next makers (and not to mention good pottery karma).

Make sure you’ve opted into our emails - otherwise, you might miss important class info like studio access codes, schedules, and important updates about your class/ workshop.
