Studio Policies

Class Policy

  • Adults Only (kinda): Our classes are made for adults. But if you’ve got a 16-year-old who’s basically an old soul, email us! 
  • Refunds & Cancellations: We don't offer refunds (small business realities!), but you can read how we handle reschedules and store credits in our “Refund Policy”.
  • Make-up Classes: Life happens! Check out our “Make-Up Class Policy” and we’ll do what we can to accommodate you.
  • Photography: We LOVE showing off student work. By joining us, you’re giving us the green light to photograph your pieces. Details in our Photography Policy in Section 10 under “Terms of Service”. 
  • Flexible Lesson Plans: Your teacher might adjust the plan depending on class interest - we want the class to reflect what you want to learn. You’re here to get the most out of your time (and your money).
  • Clean up: The final 20–30 minutes of each class are for cleanup. It’s all part of being in a shared studio and keeping the space ready for the next makers (and not to mention good pottery karma).

P.S. Make sure you’ve opted into our emails - otherwise, you might miss important class info like studio access codes, schedules, and important updates about your class/ workshop.

Refund Policy

  • All courses are non-refundable.
  • We require at least two weeks advance notice to reschedule a multi-week course, regardless of the date of booking.
  • We require 72 hours notice in order to reschedule a single class booking.
  • There are no partial refunds for missed classes.
  • We will try to accommodate one make-up class per multi-class session, you must notify us at least 48 hours in advance of a planned absence in order to qualify for a makeup class.
  • Makeup classes cannot roll over into following sessions.
  • We do not offer makeup classes for missed makeup classes.
  • Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate makeup classes in four week classes and specialty workshops.
  • We do not offer price matching if our products go on sale.
  • Our return/refund policy applies to ALL our offerings unless otherwise noted.
