Come for the clay, stay for the people. Whether you’ve never touched a wheel or you’re already fluent in “slipping and scoring”, our Pottery Fundamentals class is designed for all levels.

Total beginner? You'll start with a solid foundation in handbuilding, wheel-throwing, and glazing techniques with step-by-step guidance from our instructors to help bring your clay dreams to life.

Been doing this a while? Intermediate potters can collaborate with our instructors to shape personal goals and dive into the nitty-gritty of lids, pouring forms, and those satisfying closed shapes.

Warning: friendships may form. Projects may get swapped. Laughing while centering clay is basically guaranteed.

1 Sleeve of Clay, glazes and firings are included in the class price.

Please note that ALL COURSES are NON REFUNDABLE

Terms & Conditions | Important! Please read

  • Adults Only (kinda): Our classes are made for adults. But if you’ve got a 16-year-old who’s basically an old soul, email us!
  • Refunds & Cancellations: We don't offer refunds (small business realities!), but you can read how we handle reschedules and store credits in our “Refund Policy”.
  • Make-up Classes: Life happens! Check out our “Make-Up Class Policy” and we’ll do what we can to accommodate you.
  • Photography: We LOVE showing off student work. By joining us, you’re giving us the green light to photograph your pieces. Details in our Photography Policy in Section 10 under “Terms of Service”.
  • Flexible Lesson Plans: Your teacher might adjust the plan depending on class interest - we want the class to reflect what you want to learn. You’re here to get the most out of your time (and your money).
  • Clean up: The final 20–30 minutes of each class are for cleanup. It’s all part of being in a shared studio and keeping the space ready for the next makers (and not to mention good pottery karma).

Make sure you’ve opted into our emails - otherwise, you might miss important class info like studio access codes, schedules, and important updates about your class/ workshop.
