Looking for a fun way to spend a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday evening? Ages 13+ are welcome to join our Pottery Wheel Taster Class.
One of our skilled instructors will start with a quick demo of the wheel, then you’ll have 2.5 hours to try your hand at throwing pots, experimenting and getting creative. When you’re done, we’ll guide you through wheel clean-up before you head out.
We’ll take care of the finishing touches — trimming, firing, and glazing — and glaze one of your pieces in a clear, food-safe finish so you can take home a lasting memory of your time on the wheel.
Important Details:
- Short nails are recommended but we can work around longer ones
- Please ensure prompt arrival for the scheduled class time. The demonstration will not be repeated.
- The last 30 minutes of class are dedicated to cleaning up.
- Your pieces will be ready for pickup 4 weeks after the class. We will hold your pieces for 1 month after your pick-up date.
- Please note that the studio does not assume responsibility for cracked or damaged pieces, acknowledging that some imperfections such cracks are natural occurrences during the ceramic process
- By being a student at our studio, you acknowledge and accept that your work may be photographed by our team (read more about our photography policy in Section 11 of our Terms of Service)
